White House says no temporary deal linking DACA with border wall funding

ㅤ”‘The White House opposes a so-called three for three deal,’ said White House spokesman Raj Shah.
ㅤHe said as a result of a recent agreement in Congress to lift spending caps, ‘the routine appropriations process should yield wall funding in’ an overall spending bill under negotiation.
ㅤ’Securing the border is one of the most vital functions of government and is a core part of any routine funding bill,’ Mr. Shah said in a statement. ‘Separately, we have never stopped working to negotiate an immigration reform package that addresses DACA, stops illegal immigration and secures and modernizes our legal immigration system.'”
