Majority U.S. Women: Democrats Used Kavanaugh Sexual Assault Accusations for Political Gain

ㅤ"When asked, ‘Do you think Democrats were genuinely concerned about Dr. Christine Ford and her allegations towards Judge Kavanaugh, or were they just using the allegation for political purposes in order to block Kavanaugh’s nomination?’ about 55 percent of all U.S. voters say the Democrats were ‘just using the allegations’ to stop Kavanaugh from getting on the Supreme Court.
ㅤAbout 55 percent of American women and 56 percent of men say the same, that Democrats were using the Kavanaugh allegations for political purposes. A minority of 45 percent of voters say the Democrats were ‘genuinely concerned’ about Blasey Ford."

American Bar Association Closes Review Of Kavanaugh; Critics Won't Like The Result

ㅤ"Amid the uncorroborated allegations circus, the American Bar Association caused a stir by re-opening its review process of then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. But upon his confirmation, the ABA says, their review officially closed, meaning the newly sworn-in Justice Brett Kavanaugh maintains his ‘well qualified’ rating."

Justices Reject Appeal of Kavanaugh Environmental Ruling

ㅤ”The Supreme Court is declining to review an environmental ruling written by Brett Kavanaugh in his former role as an appeals court judge.
ㅤThe justices on Tuesday left in place an August 2017 ruling the new Supreme Court justice wrote that struck down an Obama-era Environmental Protection Agency rule. That rule was intended to limit the release of a class of chemicals that contribute to global warming.
ㅤKavanaugh wrote that EPA lacks the authority to regulate the chemicals under a part of the Clean Air Act that addresses ozone-depleting chemicals.
ㅤThe chemicals are hydrofluorocarbons, or HFCs. They are industrial chemicals primarily used in cooling that replaced ozone-eating compounds.”

Kingsjester's Blog reports that

Before and immediately after the Senate narrowly voted to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court on Saturday, top Democrats vowed that they would continue to fight — not only at the ballot box in November’s midterm elections, but also through further investigations and potentially even impeachment proceedings afterwards.

On Saturday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi announced she planned to file a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to obtain documents related to the FBI’s supplemental probe of Kavanaugh, which senators said showed no corroboration of the decades-old sexual…

Kavanaugh's Rise Heralds New Conservative Era on Supreme Court

ㅤ"The Senate confirmed Kavanaugh 50-48 Saturday, letting him take the bench when the court hears its next arguments on Tuesday. Kavanaugh, who overcame allegations of sexual assault and misconduct dating to his school days, becomes President Donald Trump’s second appointee on the high court, joining Justice Neil Gorsuch.
ㅤThe reconstituted court could roll back abortion protections, outlaw affirmative action, bolster religious rights and curb federal regulatory power. Kavanaugh’s work on a federal appeals court suggests he will align with his four fellow Republican appointees in ideologically divisive cases."

Stop Brett Kavanaugh Before He Drinks Again!

ㅤStory via Very Ersatz News.

ㅤô¿ô …On numerous occasions Bill Clinton has called Kavanaugh at 2:00 AM and asked him to retrieve Hillary from some run-down bar. Apparently Hillary loves to get drunk and suck off deplorables. Also, when Hillary went on her binge on election night, it was Kavanaugh who talked her out of committing suicide.

McConnell: Senate will hold Kavanaugh vote 'this week'

GOP Officials Slam Flake: 'He's A Pompous A** Who Has Lost His F**king Mind'

ㅤ"The outrage against Flake came after he changed his mind from voting to confirm Kavanaugh to wanting an FBI investigation completed so that he would ‘feel better.’
ㅤ’He betrayed the Republican Party and went full-Democrat,’ the official said, adding that Flake’s decision to call for an FBI investigation was short-sighted because of how that move puts the vacant Supreme Court seat in jeopardy. ‘He did not consider how his actions will affect the America that his grandchildren will grow up in and whether they will have the same freedoms that we have today.’"

Kavanaugh's Nomination Saved?

ㅤô¿ô …No. There are two possible reasons for a floor vote on Saturday. Either to railroad Kavanaugh nomination or end the mess and start over with another nominee. I’d put $100 on number two.

Bill Cosby Declared A “Sexually Violent Predator” By Judge, Just Before Being Sentenced To 3-10 Years In Prison

Reblogged from Sutter Media

ㅤ”I thought it was worth sharing this for the sake of highlighting the differences between women who credibly accused Bill Cosby of drugging and raping them, all of whom paint a complete picture of a long standing pattern of behavior in the actor’s life and career, and the accusations leveled at Brett Kavanaugh by Christine Blasey Ford and, later on, Deborah Ramirez, both of which started off weak, and which seem less credible by the day.”

Sutter Media

…via Breitbart:

A judge declared Bill Cosby a “sexually violent predator” on Tuesday as he prepared to sentence the 81-year-old comedian for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman over a decade ago.

The classification means that Cosby must undergo monthly counseling for the rest of his life and report quarterly to authorities. His name will appear on a sex-offender registry sent to neighbors, schools and victims.

Montgomery County Judge Steven O’Neill made the decision as he weighed the punishment for Cosby for violating Temple University women’s basketball administrator Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia estate in 2004.
